Pastry Chef Jeremy Fogg has been in his industry for over a decade. From 2014-2020 he was the Pastry Chef for Emeril Lagasse’s flagship restaurant in New Orleans where he completely reinvented their dessert menu. He went on to assist with the development of the dessert menu for Meril and Emeril’s Coastal and traveled with Chef Emeril to events around the country.
Chef Jeremy has also appeared on the Food Network multiple times, competing on shows such as Chopped Sweets, Beat Bobby Flay, and Best Baker in America.
Jeremy pivoted to teaching during the pandemic, working as an adjunct professor at Delgado Community College. When he wasn’t teaching he was hosting pop-ups at coffee shops and farmer’s markets as Mae’s Bakeshop, a business he started in honor of the women in his family and their recipes. His reputation from Emeril’s and his television appearances allowed Mae’s to gain a loyal following, resulting in him opening a storefront in January 2024. Unfortunately the storefront had to close in November 2024.
Despite having to close his bakery, Chef Jeremy found a path forward as the Executive Chef for French Truck Coffee overseeing their in-house pastry and culinary operations for their 10 Louisiana locations.
